
Admission and Public Relations Committee

A member of the committee shall determine snow emergency days.

Shall develop and direct a planned program for representing the concept of Christian education to the churches and communities being served.

Advertisement in local newspapers
-
Publication in local newspapers of the honor roll, special events, and other newsworthy items.

Scheduling student appearances (musical, choral, etc.) in local churches in the communities in cooperation with the staff member in charge of music.

Make decisions concerning the admission and enrollment of a family into the school’s program to follow a prescribed procedure (see 3-2-2 "Enrollment Policy").
Building and Maintenance Committee
-
Keep the building neat, clean, and attractive.
-
Perform minor building maintenance projects which may include but not be limited to: moving furniture, redecorating the interior, cleaning, repairing roofs and foundations, replacing doors and windows, plumbing, heating, electrical, and ventilation.

Maintain the heating, lighting, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, ventilation, and fire protection systems.

Maintain instructional apparatus and furniture.
-
Eliminate certain fire and health hazards.
-
Requisition necessary supplies and services for the above in cooperation with the Treasurer.

Be held responsible that money is not wasted in the areas of fuel, water, and electricity.

Periodically inspect the building with the administrator to determine the needs of the students and staff.
Education Committee
-
Address the needs and concerns of the staff outside the administrator’s realm.
-
Recommend textbooks and materials for Board adoption within the guidelines of 1-2-5 (E)(2).

Designate a member (not staff) to evaluate the administrator at least once a year (twice a year for new staff). Evaluations shall include, but are not limited to:

Classroom visitations

Development of a self improvement plan
-

Shall establish guidelines for student participation in extracurricular activities, including but not limited to: sports events and interscholastic activities.

Design and recommend principles of discipline for Board approval. Such principles of discipline shall include but not be limited to:

Academic and/or behavioral detention
-
Suspension
-
Probation
-
Corporal discipline
-

Shall develop and implement a plan of rewards for students to be presented at the annual awards banquet.

Shall designate person(s) to procure chapel speakers for weekly chapels at the school.
-
Shall incorporate in its membership at least all staff members who are members of the Corporation.​
Grounds and Development Committee
-
Keep the grounds neat, clean, and attractive.
-
Perform minor outdoor maintenance projects which may include, but not be limited to: shoveling snow, lawn care, plant or re-plant shrubbery, and repair of walks, drains, sewers, fences, and driveways.

Requisition necessary supplies and services (in cooperation with the Treasurer).
-
Recommend alterations, additions, purchases, and replacement of building(s), furniture, and equipment (if necessary, in cooperation with the Building and Maintenance Committee).

Periodically inspect the grounds with the administrator to determine the needs of the students and staff.
